3 Easy Steps to Sell Diabetic Test Strips

#1 Best Place to Sell Diabetic Test Strips

Sell Your Strips for More is the best place to sell diabetic test strips. They have been ranked #1 for their honesty, high payouts, fast payments, and service to the community. They consistently rank higher than other companies in average payouts and seller return rate. We tested the top 6 companies on Google’s search results and have determined the best place to sell diabetic test strips is Sell Your Strips for More. They had the highest payouts, quickest payments, and they paid what they quoted.

An Honest Company

10 years ago there were only a few companies you could sell diabetic test strips to. So it wasn’t hard to find the best place to sell diabetic test strips. But over the last several years over 20 new companies have popped up, most of them with poor business practices. We put them to the test and the results will surprise you.

Avoid Companies Buying Test Strips at Prices Higher than you Could Purchase them on Amazon

One group of people have started over 5 different companies that claim to offer high prices, but they never actually pay. They all claim to be the best place to sell diabetic test strips, but if you see a company offering $50-$60+ per box, be very skeptical, they will either not pay you or claim your package is damaged and offer you next to nothing.

As a good rule of thumb, if you can purchase the test strips on Amazon for less than they are offering you, they are trying to scam you. A lot of people look for a company with highest listed prices thinking they the best place to sell diabetic test strips, but in fact they are the worst place as they never pay what they actually state.

Companies can Buy in Bulk from Manufacturers for Less than What they are Claiming to Pay You – Be Skeptical!

A company wanting to purchase test strips in bulk could actually do so from the manufacturer at around 50% – 70% less than the retail cost. So if you can purchase at the drug store a box of test strips that costs $80 and a company is offering to pay you $50 for it, that doesn’t make sense as they could get the same box with expiration dates over a year, in brand new condition, for way less than what they are offering you. Companies that offer inflated prices should be avoided, they are not the best place to sell diabetic test strips.

How to Spot an Honest Company

Look for Fair Pricing

An honest company will offer the highest prices they can without exceeding the bulk manufacturer pricing. So as a good rule of thumb, go with a company offering prices in the middle somewhere. If a company offers more than $50 per box and they pay for shipping they would be losing money, and if they are honest, which they likely are not, they wont be in business long. You may think this is the best place to sell diabetic test strips to, but you will likely be scammed by them and will either get nothing or get next to nothing.

Watch Expiration Policies

Many companies will put long expiration date requirements (12 to 18 months) that most people can not meet. Then somewhere on their website they will state that they do not accept test strips that don’t meet these date requirements and that if they are sent in they will not receive compensation or compensation will be greatly reduced. Some test strips are not even manufactured with expiration dates longer than 1 year so be very skeptical of companies that require long dates.

If a company was truly in the business of helping people they would accept very short dates. Sell Your Strips for More purchases test strips with dates as short as 1 month which is why they are rated as the best place to sell diabetic test strips.

Watch Out for Companies with a Large Number of Positive Reviews – They Are Fake

Approximately 1 in 50 people leave a review for a company that provided a good service. There was recently a company that popped up around 6 months ago and they had already accumulated over 1000 positive reviews. Many people thought because of the large number of reviews that they were the best place to sell diabetic test strips. But, these reviews were fake and it became obvious when people started leaving negative reviews about not getting paid. The majority of sellers are not going to take the time to leave a review unless they had a bad experience. So if you come across a company with an overwhelming number of positive reviews, be skeptical, they purchased them.

On average, a company that is not purchasing or asking for reviews will get around 1 every 6-12 months. A company that is asking for reviews will get around 1 every 1-2 weeks. Watch out for companies with numerous reviews everyday, they are purchasing them.

Also be skeptical of a large number of Trust Pilot reviews. This is an external review site who offers both a free version and a paid version. The paid version allows the company being reviewed to remove negative reviews. Sell Your Strips for More uses the free version of their software and will never remove negative reviews.

Who Paid the Most for Diabetic Test Strips?

Sell Your Strips for More paid the most, was consistently within their payment processing window of 24 hours, did not discount for slightly damaged boxes, and accepted the box with the shorter expiration date. Because of this we consider Sell Your Strips for More the Best Place to Sell Diabetic Test Strips.

As you can see from this test, the companies with the highest quoted prices either did not pay or paid the least amount of money. Ironically, these are the companies with the highest ratings which makes it clear that the rating were purchased.

Selling Experience with Company 1 from Google Search

The company at the top of Googles search results who claimed to pay $56 for a box in mint condition with a 12 month expiration date only paid $8. When we asked why we did not get the full payment they said that the box we sent had significant damage, even though it was sent in a crush proof box with adequate packaging.

We asked for a photo of the box that showed the expiration date and they sent us a photo of a different box that indeed had significant damage, but as you can see by the expiration date and lot number, it was not the box we sent in. Based on reviews for this company that we have seen, this is a common practice for them. What was odd to us is that they paid us $8 for this box, but the box we sent in with slight damage they paid $12.

This company had well over 1500 positive reviews, despite being a fairly new company. We decided to leave an honest review of our experience. We left a 2 star review, because after all they did pay something, and we stated exactly what we sent and the review was deleted within 48 hours. This place is not the best place to sell diabetic test strips, don’t fall for their claim to pay high prices.

Selling Experience with Company 2 from Google Search

The second company listed on the google search results was by far the worst. Of the three boxes we sent in, we received no money and no communication. At the time they had over 700 positive reviews on their website however all the reviews on their website appeared to be fake. We looked at their google reviews and they had numerous complaints about people not getting paid and lack of communication. This company is the furthest from the best place to sell diabetic test strips, steer clear of them.

Selling Experience with Company 3 from Google Search

The third company in Google’s search results was what we would consider an honest company. They paid what they quoted every time and they accepted the damaged box. They did take a little longer to pay, they exceeded their 24 payment window all 3 times and they do offer significantly lower payments for items with shorter dates, because of this we can not rate them as the best place to sell diabetic test strips. We do consider them to be an honest company.

Selling Experience with Company 4 from Google Search

The fourth company is a known fraudulent company. They never paid and they offered a $25 bonus for new sellers that was also never paid. They have no reviews listed on their website, but they do have 41 negative reviews on TrustPilot with no positive reviews. This company is far from the best place to sell diabetic test strips and we hope no one ever sends their supplies to them as they clearly will not pay.

Selling Experience with Company 5 from Google Search

The fifth company was not honest about their payments. They considered our mint condition box to be damaged and gave us $17 instead of the $50.50 we were quoted. When we asked for photographs of the damaged box the were never provided. They had around 200 positive reviews and no negative reviews. We left a 2 star review stating our experience and it was deleted. We can not rate this company as the best place to sell diabetic test strips.

Selling Experience with Company 6 from Google Search

The sixth company from our google search result did pay what they quoted every time and also accepted the box that had 6 months until expiration even though their cutoff was 7 months. They only missed their payment window 1 time, but only by 4 hours. The reason we can not rate them as the best place to sell diabetic test strips is because their prices were very low. But we do consider them to be an honest and reliable company.

THE BEST PLACE TO SELL DIABETIC TEST STRIPS

From the results of our selling experiment we have concluded that the best place to sell diabetic test strips is to Sell Your Strips for More. They provided the highest payments, the quickest payouts, and they paid either what they quoted or more than what they quoted.
